Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Franklin ISD School’s Child Nutrition Program to serve each student meals that are appealing, nutritious and appetizing in an environment that is safe, clean, and cheerful. The child nutrition program is designed as a service organization and, as such, has a primary obligation in making this service available to all students and staff. The program works to see that students are taught the value of proper nutrition and good food habits. Meals that are well planned and nutritious reflect the standard set by the child nutrition program as we follow all USDA and TDA federal and state guidelines. Students are the backbone of the child nutrition program, and as such, always require a caring word and a pleasant smile.
