Hello! ¡ Hola! Xin chào!

I am the ESL Coordinator for Franklin ISD. This will be my fourth year at Franklin ISD; however, my family and I have lived in the community for a little more than a five years now. I am excited to have the opportunity to serve the students in our community. I love working with students to help them achieve their highest potential, and I especially have a passion for helping students who are recent immigrants or who are English language learners.

My goal is to bridge the gap for students in their learning as they are grasping control of their second language. I also strive to bridge the gap between parents and school, as I believe it is important to involve parents in their child's education.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) from the University of Texas at Tyler. I also hold teaching endorsements for ESL (English as a Second Language) and Bilingual Education (Spanish/English). This will be my 9th year working in the field of education.

I know this will be an exciting year, and that we can work together to ensure the success of all students!
